Acrylic signage is rigid, fragile and packed to survive the journey, which is why the larger sizes cost more to send than a mug does.
Ordering a sign and smaller pieces together? They travel as separate parcels, so you'll see both delivery charges at checkout. The total is always shown in full before you pay — nothing is added later.
Full event builds and installations are delivered by us and quoted individually — see "Bespoke delivery and installation" below.
How long things take
Your delivery date = design and proofing time + making time + postage. Please allow for all three, and order well ahead of your event.

Why four to six weeks and not three. The making itself takes two weeks. The rest is design and approval — your first proof comes within five working days, two rounds of revisions are included, and most designs are signed off inside two weeks. We also order your acrylic in your chosen shade, which takes a few days to reach us. Quoting six weeks means we very rarely need all of it.
The clock starts when we have everything we need from you — final wording, names, dates and spellings — not at the point of payment. If those details arrive late, your delivery date moves with them.
Peak season runs April to September and is busy. The earlier you order, the safer.
Need it sooner? Ask before you order. We can often work to a shorter timeline for an express fee, depending on our schedule and whether your shade is in stock.
Proofs
For anything personalised we send a digital proof before we make it. Please check the spelling, names, dates, wording and layout carefully.
The quicker you come back to us, the quicker we can start — within 48 hours keeps you comfortably ahead of schedule. Two rounds of revisions are included as standard.
We don't begin making your piece until you approve the proof, so the making times above run from your approval rather than from your order. If you need longer to decide that's fine — just know it moves your dispatch date back by the same amount. If we haven't heard from you after 5 working days we'll send a reminder.
Ordering for a specific date
Email hello@thefierceedit.com before you order and we'll confirm in writing whether we can meet your date. We'll always deliver within 30 days of your order at the latest, unless we've agreed a longer timescale with you — for example an event several months away.
If we agree a deadline you've told us is essential and we miss it, you can cancel and get a full refund.
Christmas and bank holidays
Courier networks shut down earlier over Christmas than most people expect. For events in late December and early January we work to an earlier internal deadline and will make that clear when you order.
Bespoke delivery and installation
Signage builds and full event design are delivered and, where booked, installed by us. Delivery, installation and collection are quoted separately based on your venue and date, and set out in your quote. Venue access, parking and a workable set-up window are yours to arrange — see our Terms of Service.
Tracking
Everything goes tracked. You'll get a tracking number by email when your order is dispatched.
Problems with delivery
- Not arrived? Email hello@thefierceedit.com with your order number.
- Damaged on arrival? Tell us within 48 hours with photographs of both the item and the outer packaging, so we can claim against the carrier.
- Wrong address? Let us know before dispatch. Once an order has gone we can't redirect it, and a parcel delivered to the address you gave us counts as delivered.
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
